Undermount Kit for Your Ladder Platform

If you need to mount your ladder platform under your swim deck!

Select a mounting location that will provide a strong, solid and reliable surface. Avoid weak areas or uneven surfaces. Ensure that when mounted there is a level even surface so that the bracket is not twisted or bent.

The under mount bracket should be mounted with 1/4" diameter stainless steel bolts. The bolts should have large washers to help to distribute the load incurred when the ladder platform is fully deployed. Before drilling any mounting holes, place the under mount bracket into its proposed location and ensure that the ladder platform will have the range of motion necessary for deployment and retrieval and not impeded by any boat surface or structure.

The stowing ladder functionality of the under mount platform may bind excessively if the under mount bracket is not installed so that the box is square. Make sure to check and finalize all installations prior to deploying, retrieving, or climbing on the ladder platform.

To deploy, pull the ladder platform out of the under mount bracket. Drop the ladder into the water and let it sink into the water. Gravity will help to fully extend the ladder platform.

To retrieve the platform, pull the quick retrieve handle- lifting the ladder platform out of the water until it is horizontal. Gently push or tap on the bottom of the ladder platform to compress the telescoping arms. As the arms compress, the Click Slide brackets will fold into their storage position. Be careful not to place hands or fingers in between the ladder platform and the Click Slide brackets or they may get caught. Once the telescoping arms have been compressed. Slide the ladder platform back into the under mount bracket and wrap the QuickTrieve cord and handle around the unit for storage.

The under mount bracket for ladder platforms is designed and manufactured to require little maintenance; however, a few simple items will extend the life of your product:

• Periodic washing off with fresh water, both inside and out
• Periodic lubrication of the telescoping arms using silicone or similar substance (thoroughly spray into the hole in the bottom and top caps)
• Wipe down the product from time to time to remove dirt and grime
• Periodic polishing with a stainless steel polish for marine applications
• Periodic inspection of the mounting brackets for safety and deterioration of the mounting surface
