The ladder is designed and manufactured to require little maintenance; however, a few simple items will extend the life of your product:

Periodic washing off with fresh water, both inside and out
Periodic lubrication of the telescoping arms using silicone or similar substance (thoroughly spray into the hole in the bottom and top caps)
Wipe down the product from time to time to remove dirt and grime
Periodic polishing with a stainless steel polish for marine applications
Periodic inspection of the mounting brackets for safety and deterioration of the mounting surface
