These strong dependable reels are light weight yet powerful. Each heavy duty SD reel features a cold  forged aluminum spool, and three sealed stainless steel ball bearings. The six disc drag system balances smoothness with fish stopping power. the oversized discs provide maximum surface area delivering consistent performance. Fish after punishing fish. Suited for salt or fresh water applications. the SD series is built to stand up to the harsh corrosive saltwater environment. The level wind models feature and oversized stainless steel titanium nitrite coating which stays smooth and nick free, prefect for today's braided lines.
