To ship a part to Southern Charm for repair:

1. You must call 1-800-745-0765, 8-5 Eastern time, M-F, for a repair
order number and give us your billing and shipping information as
well as your contact information at that time.

FYI: If you are sending steering parts, THEY WILL LEAK OIL!

2. Package your part as follows; all parts must be sealed in
leakproof plastic bags (2-3 Ziploc bags will usually hold) with your
repair order number written clearly on the outside of the bag holding your parts.

3. Inside a SEPARATE ziplock bag, enclose:

a. Name and Repair Order Number
b. Address that your credit card statement is mailed to
(billing address)
c. Any Telephone number we need in order to contact you and
your e-mail address
d. The address where we will be returning the part if
different from your billing address.

Also we need to know if you are sending it in because of a leak or if it was doing something strange but not leaking (making noises, only steering in one direction, etc).

4. Your repair order number must be written on the outside of the box

Ship it NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED! There are times when no one is available in the office to receive packages, but UPS, FedEx, DHL, and the Postal Service have a secure area to leave the package.

If it arrives when no one is available and a signature is required it
can delay your repair for several days as we will not go to another
location such as the post office to pick it up if a notice is left
and the package is not re-delivered in a timely fashion.

We try to turn around repairs in 1-2 days, however, the technicians
only work Monday through Thursday.
