LIVEWELL AERATOR TIMER WITH TOGGLE SWITCH
Combination aerator timer and on/off switch. Simply remove the existing on/off switch replace with timer and add one wire to battery ground.
The timer cycles the aerator pump on for approximately 30 seconds every 3.5 minutes. A continuous run mode can also be used. Supplied with operation ID plate.

Solid state timer has pump run cycle of 1-minute with variable off time of 1 to 15 minutes which automatically operates fresh water aerator or recirculation aerator pumps from 4 to 30 times per hour. The transom probe is normally mounted on the transom below the waterline near the bottom edge. Secure it in place with 1/4 inch cable clamp and screw (Supplied). Route the cable over or through the transom via the most convenient path.

A 2-1/16 inch diameter hole is required to mount the gauge. Rear clearance is 3-3/4 inches from the mounting surface to the back of the unit. Be sure to have this much space before cutting the mounting hole. Secure in place with u-bracket and hex nuts. Do not over-tighten! Power is supplied by the boat’s 12 volt DC electrical system. Connect the red wire to the boat’s accessory switch output terminal (+12v). Connect the black wire to a common ground. The surface temp gauge will operate when the accessory switch is “ON”. It is good practice to install an in-line fuse in the positive line near the power source. The unit is protected against accidental voltage reversal.

The thru hull probe requires a 1/2” hole in convenient location away from engine ignition wiring and other wiring that may produce electrical noise. It must be located were the probe will stay in the water during normal cursing. Do not mount the probe near the engine exhaust or in warm bilge water that will effect the temperature reading. Use a marine grade silicone sealer to prevent leakage.
