Pure Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide Build-up

When using pure oxygen, remember that the carbon dioxide given off by fish will not dissipate unless some form of aeration occurs within the tank. As carbon dioxide builds up in the water, fish lose the ability to absorb oxygen and may suffocate.

Be sure to read about natural aeration and pure oxygen systems (Click Here)before making your decision on the system that is right for you. In many instances, natural aeration will be sufficient for your application.

KA902-O2 Regulator  Weight: 1.63 lbs   The KeepAlive O2GO™ is the answer for a quality oxygen regulator with a price for all anglers. Rugged body components of brass, and nickel plated brass to withstand the rigors and harshness of the marine environment. 11 Settings: OFF, 1/32, 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1-1/2, 2, and 4 liters per minute. These settings will allow various oxygen ratios with inexpensive air stones. The KA902-O2 also provides sufficient pressure and oxygen for premium quality diffusers as our KA970-O2,  KA975 and KA9100 diffuser. At it's largest setting, the KA970 and KA975 will consume 3/4 liters per minute. Nickel Plated Brass  with special internal components. Designed for use in a marine environment. Nut and Nipple style regulator body for use with CGA 540 Inlet Valve Cylinders. Oxygen tank pressure gauge with gauge protector. Barbed Outlet for direct attachment of oxygen tubing. KeepAlive Pure Oxygen Infusion Systems  use Chrome Plated Brass CGA 540 Inlet Cylinder Valves. Cylinders can be refilled from inexpensive commercial welding oxygen sources.

Cylinders have a white coat of baked on bonded powder paint.

KeepAlive uses Rule® bilge pumps that are designed to operate  in environments where flammable gasoline vapors may be present . They have CE and ISO8849 certifications, and are sold world-wide.

Photo is the KA1100 in 20 gallons of fresh water using 1/16 liters per minute of pure oxygen. The oxygen bubbles are so small they make the water look a milky color.

KeepAlive now gives you the ability to convert your system into a KeepAlive Pure Oxygen Infusion System to maximize the amount of fish that can be transported safely in a minimum amount of water.

If oxygen is one of your requirements, KeepAlive will disperse oxygen quicker any other oxygen delivery system such as diffusers and air stones.

KeepAlive disperses smaller micro bubbles quicker than any other method, and provides a water current for schooling of fish. Water speed is adjustable for each species.

KeepAlive Infusors allow for a full range of adjustable air to oxygen mixtures to provide safety, a long lasting oxygen supply, and back up. Pure oxygen is used to enrich the air, when keeping large amounts of fish in hot weather and warm water. Adjusting the air-to-oxygen ratio will keep your tournament fish and bait healthy and lively, yet keeping unwanted high oxygen levels at the top of an enclosed container to a minimum. A rigid trans-fill has inherent deficiencies and should not be used!

• Filling a cylinder with a rigid trans-fill can be hazardous! Stress due to the weight of a cylinder on the trans-fill and associated connections may separate and result in serious injuries.

• Most rigid trans-fills do not have a slow filling orifice, Cylinders can overheat to dangerous levels and cylinders may be damaged.

Safety Features  

• Flexible high pressure hose. Cylinder can be  placed on a solid surface while filling.

• A slow filling orifice to prevent overheating of cylinders and hazardous conditions.

• Single gauge will monitor filling cylinder pressure with filling cylinder valve open.

• Single gauge will monitor supply cylinder pressure with filling cylinder valve closed.

• Bleed valve to remove 2000 lbs of pressure from trans-fill before loosening and removing connections.

SAFETY FIRST AND ALWAYS!

1. Connect tubing to Regulator, Air control Valve and KeepAlive Pump Base.

2. Connect check valve

3. Connect all three tubes to Tee.

4. Keep Oxygen Regulator valves off.

5. Turn on KeepAlive Infusor and adjust for desired water flow. See Instruction Manual for proper water flow adjustments.

6. Starting with the smallest settings, open regulator and add oxygen as needed.

7. Check valve prevents oxygen from escaping at highest settings when pure oxygen is required.
